Leadership can be a lonely place. We provide confidential individual support to executives needing help to navigate sticky issues and wicked problems, address conflict in teams or boards, and make difficult decisions.

Our work to support senior leaders also includes testing their thinking and acting as a ‘brains-trust’ for strategic ideas and major presentations.

On big issues that are about to go public we advise spokespeople on tone and timing, and craft messages that will land with your audiences – staff, stakeholders, media or government. We make the myriad choices about where to put your effort and energy as clear as crystal. And perhaps most importantly, we’ll clarify what not to say or do.

Please give us a call for a confidential and obligation-free chat.

I highly recommend Louisa if you need assistance with solving sticky problems, developing your strategy, achieving that clarity or scoping integrated communications. We all need extra help and it’s great to have someone with a superpower in your corner.

Review of Sexual Harassment in Victorian Courts

“The Big Picture bring a total package of skills around engagement, communication, media management with a deep understanding of the issues around discrimination and social justice.  And they are a delight to work with, available when you need them, clear on timeframes and responsive to your needs.  I highly recommend them and feel so pleased to have had the opportunity to work with them on such an important project.”

Dr Helen Szoke AO - Lead Reviewer

The ‘open secret’ of sexual harassment in Victorian Courts was in the spotlight with the release of an independent Review by Dr Helen Szoke, former Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commissioner.

From articulating the communications principles and tone of voice at the beginning until the release of the final report, The Big Picture advised how to distil the complexity of the Review process into a clarion call for change.

Values-based messaging was employed to centre the rights of victim-survivors:

Everybody has the right to be safe and feel safe at work.

We set a tone reflecting the gravitas of the Review – assured and independent, compassionate and considered. Branding, stakeholder kits and a website were carefully crafted alongside key messages, social media posts and meticulous copy editing of the 80-page Recommendations Report.

Ending the scourge of sexual harassment in workplaces demands our attention and our action. We’re proud to have helped amplify the changes needed to better respond to and prevent sexual harassment in Victorian courts. You can read the 20 Recommendations of the Review here.
